As I dozed off into the first stages of sleep, I felt a download from the Lord come in loud and clear. I’d been asking Him what He wanted for the church in this season, and hadn’t received anything in a while, so of course it came as I put my head on the pillow.

28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
“My precious child, I see you and all that looks to enfold you,
the busyness of daily life can seem all too much at times,
it leaves so little time to rest and simply be – before me.
The things that would add refreshment to your walk are the very things that
there is little time or room for.
In this season I am doing a fresh new thing in and with you.
You might have noticed that the atmosphere has been heavy of late, like life is speeding up.
Many of you have been wondering when it is all going to stop.
Please listen, this is the new level, and with it, comes the need to adjust, life adjustments.
For too long the culture has endeavoured to steer you in directions that distract or detract from the best thing I have for you.
I am adjusting your sights a couple of degrees to the left or the right.
Aligning each one to my course.
I do this, not to add MORE burden to your life, but to show you the gentle ebb and flow of the season you are in and how to shine within it.
It’s time to draw a line in the sand, stop…..ask the question…..why am I doing this? Bring your commitments before me and let’s work together to create space, to free you up for the things that matter most!
My desire is for you to discern the things that bring life or death, the things that lift up or cast down.
Don’t you want time to be able to invest in the people I show you?
Don’t you want to have energy to enjoy life as you live it?
There is no guilt in choosing the pure things I have placed before you. Time to surrender the chaos and pick up my peace. Many things look good from the outside, but I want only the best for you.”
I saw a picture of each of His beloved saints come to His feet and sit, without question,without complaint or need, just simply to be – before the King.
It was a place where His heartbeat became ours, it’s an easy place, full of rest and refreshment, it’s a place of balance and of Him.
It’s a place where we are shown the things that are important to Him and where He resources us, gives His supernatural answers on how to step into those things.
Why would we do this you might ask???
Because the benefits for you personally, the greater benefits for our families, the amazing benefits for His church…us all….
