It has been a long time coming, but (friends and family who have nagged (albeit lovingly) me to blog, so here it is….I am travelling this journey called life and God has been encouraging me amidst an intense period of health hardship.

He has shown me SOOOOO much about how He wants me to truly LIVE and thrive within the tough.

I am a wife of one, a mum of 3, a former primary teacher (but don’t hold that against me), a natural introvert, highly sensitive person who has an intense interest in the study of people and why we are the way we are and why we do the things we do.

I love to people watch, listen, care, encourage, and have been given much to write to others, that have shone God’s light into dark situations. A friend once described me as encouragement on steroids. Although I have plenty of downtimes, God lifts me up and shows me the blossom amongst the weeds. So I choose to take her words as a compliment! lol…thanks darlin.

He has brought me life words, encouragement, and lots of A-Ha moments. So that is primarily what the blog is about. Those moments in time. The encouragement that has lifted me and might encourage you in the place you find yourself today.

I am definitely not an expert, don’t have a theology degree or counseling diploma –  but pure and simple, I love to spend time with God and hear what He has to say to me….it’s a journey, and as such, this is a place of learning, ups and downs, mistakes and highlight-reel moments in God……and if any of it encourages you along the way, gives you food for thought, or inspires you to keep going when you feel like giving up – then good stuff!!! Praise God for that!!!
