What fruit would you be?

Maybe like me, you’ve never thought about this…

But here goes:

Jesus talks about us being like branches that produce good fruit. (John 15)

God is the gardener.

Sometimes we get pruned, in order to produce MORE fruit.

I have to be honest, pruning is not something that I generally look forward to.

Sometimes when it’s happening I feel the goodness of it….but most of the time – not.

When change is rife.

When things don’t go the way I’d hoped.

When relationships end, or move into different seasons.

When I have to learn something new.

When I have to humble myself or give up something.

When I experience loss, pain, illness, or challenge.

EEEKKKK….pruning is hard. Some things mentioned above could be classed

as pruning, and it’s usually no fun, no fun at all.

Then this line zipped into my heart as I journaled with Him.

“You are My fruit

I love you. When I look at you, I see My fruit. Sweetness meets My eyes. You grow when connected to Me.

You hold within you, seeds for multiplication.

So take heart precious one, you are My fruit. You are evidence of My heart and Spirit.”

I am still pondering this, if you have any insight, I would love to hear it. Comment below to let me know…but my first

response was – WOW…..I love this Lord.

God bless you precious one,

with His fruitfulness in your life.

God bless you with a deep, abiding connection to Him and His heart.

God bless you with seeds for multiplication and willingness to share

what He entrusts and prompts you to give to others.

Bless you, greatly with His multiplication, in Jesus’ name.

Amen.
